Liam & Chloe had their Milton Keynes Engagement Photography taken at Ouse Valley Park – an unfamiliar place picked out almost at random from the map because it was about halfway between us (and these guys were kind enough to travel). We were keen to explore as Google said there was a cool looking aqueduct nearby so we walked up the canal, with the occasional stop for photos in the late afternoon sun. Liam & Chloe were a little nervous to be in front of the camera to begin with – most people are, including me! – but they were open to ideas and willing to try stuff, which is how the best photos are made. Thanks guys – you didn’t anything to worry about!
Somehow we managed to time everything perfectly, reaching the Iron Trunk Aqueduct just as the light became crazy good – the sun spilling it’s golden guts beneath the bridge. It’s every photographer’s dream time but I managed to put down the camera for a few quiet moments as the three of us took it all in from the top of the aqueduct – it felt like the right thing to do. We found a couple of other cool spots shooting through sunset and into twilight and then popped inside the local pub for a drink in front of the fire. A nice way to end the day!
