One thing I love being nosey about are the stories of how couples met. Did they spy one another over a school assembly at age 14 like Tom & Ellie? Was she served by a handsome waiter one evening? (That’s a story to come). Or, as in the case of Pete & Elodie, did they meet through church connections in a love story spanning Oxford & Switzerland and saw him cross land & sea to slowly win her over.
Pete & Elodie wanted their Oxford engagement photography to be a small record of their time living there as after the wedding they’ll be heading back to Switzerland to live. There are no shortage of landmarks and features that scream ‘Oxford’, so we picked a few and meandered through town visiting them, taking in the sights, and immersing ourselves in the beautiful sandstone buildings, cobbled stone streets, green foliage (props if you can even spot some punting in the background), and sea of bicycles. They are EVERY-where. We lived in Oxford ourselves when we first arrived in the UK, so it was nice to be back again and reminded of all the things that make this place so unique.
Wishing these two all the best before their big day in October. We can’t wait.
