Matt & Clare managed to pick the most spectacular warm and sunny day in April to get married. With spring zinging in the air on the back of blossoms, daffodils, and sunshine we really got the sense of something new and beautiful taking place in the season as well as in the lives of these two.
We appreciated all the careful thought that had been given to the wedding details. The colour scheme with all those easter pastel tones – buttery yellows, duck egg blues and cherry blossom pink – worked so well together and was complemented nicely by the gorgeous decor of Shottle Hall where Clare got ready and where the reception was held.
We loved how the day held significance to the past, as well as enjoyment of the moment and hope for the future. Subtle touches like photos of grandparents on their wedding days showed how important family and a sense of the past were to these guys. Clare’s bouquet from The Blossom Tree even incorporated her grandmother’s wedding ring. Beautiful.
We’re looking forward to being back weddinging at Shottle Hall in a few weeks time!
